Blended Level 3 Emergency First Aid At Work (2 Hours On-Line And 4 Hours Face To Face Over Half A Day)

No previous certification is required.

HSE, RQF And OFQUAL Regulated

This comprehensive HSE And RQF Regulated First Aid training course is for smaller workplaces, where a Risk Assessment has identified that the workplace presents few Health and Safety risks. It can also be used in larger workplaces as additional assistance to other staff that have completed the Level 3 First Aid At Work.

Course Duration And Format

• 2 hours online and 4 hours face to face.
• Accredited certification valid for 3 years.
• Practical, hands-on sessions to build real confidence.
• Courses can be held at our training centre or your workplace.

Part No1:- Online

This part of the course is self-directed and is expected to take 2 hours online to complete. It consists of several modules, which can be completed at your own pace, in your own environment, providing you the flexibility for your needs. The online training must be completed within the 6 weeks prior to your face to face training.

Part No2:- Face To Face (At Our Sheffield Based Training Centre) Or (Your Workplace For Group Bookings)

This part of the course is at our Training Centre to complete the face to face training and is expected to take 4 hours. This includes a practical and written assessments, including subjects covered on the online training section.

The process is as follows:-

2. Once confirmed, you will receive a second email with full joining details to the Part No2 – face to face section of the course, along with the login details to start the Part No1 online section of the course.

 Please Note:- Due to the online aspect of the course, once the booking has been made, no alterations can be made. This includes the name of the person attending and the date for the Part No2 face to face section of the course. If you require more flexibility, you may want to consider the full 1 day face to face Level 3 Emergency First Aid At Work training course.

Course Syllabus

You will learn to deal with a variety of workplace first aid situations, including:-

 Unit 1:- Emergency First Aid In The Workplace

•  Roles and responsibilities of a first aider.
• Assessing an incident and casualty.
• CPR and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
• Recovery position.
• Choking.
• Seizures.
• Shock.
• Wounds and bleeding.
• Minor injuries (cuts, grazes, bruises, burns, scalds).

Certification

Upon successful completion, learners will receive a Level 3 Emergency First Aid At Work certificate, regulated by OFQUAL and meeting HSE requirements.
